Le principe breveté de dégrillage Step-Screen® repose sur le mouvement circulaire d'un jeu de lamelles mobiles intercalées entre un jeu de lamelles fixes. L'unité d'entraînement par bille d'accouplement a été développée et améliorée à partir du système confirmé et breveté "Link". Dans l'intérêt des utilisateurs, nous avons exclu tout système d'entraînement par chaîne qui présente un entretien fastidieux. Le système d'entraînement par bille parmet de maîtriser les déformations des lamelles dues à une hauteur d'eau importante en amont du dégrilleur.
